Sen. John McCain thought he had a deal when President Bush, faced with a veto-proof margin in Congress, agreed to sign a bill banning the torture of detainees.

Not quite.

While Bush signed the new law, he also quietly approved another document: a signing statement reserving his right to ignore the law.

If the president can’t obey the law, then why should I have to slow down in a school zone, or stop for a school bus that is unloading or loading kids. Bush has side stepped laws since he was elected, I mean selected in 2000. He has fucked the working poor, the middle class and soldiers, all while making people believe that if they went against him, they were supporting terrorists.

The man needs to be tried in the house of representatives, and then impeached in the senate. Then Dick Cheney, Condi Rice, Donald Rumsfeld, and all of his cronies he has polluting our government. Then the people of America need to stop being zombies at the election booth and put in effective representatives that will effectively govern, not just pander to their base on single issues.

The judge also said he was “gravely concerned” because the lone doctor in charge of mixing the lethal drugs in Missouri is dyslexic. Someone else administers the drugs.

’nuff said.
